Located in the heart of Little Italy at 608 College Street, The Royal Cinema was built in 1939 (then called the Pylon) and is now considered one of Toronto's most cherished historic landmarks. Today, The Royal operates as both a movie theatre for second-run indie/art house cinema (also participating in many film festivals) and a live event venue.
