In Open Book's magazine, Dalton Higgins gives praise to the library in his piece, "Of Libraries, LongPens and Loot." And Nathaniel G. Moore shared his piece, "Conflict of Interest: Heathers 2 (Starring Heather Birrell)."

Open Book writer-in-residence, Sarah Tsiang, continued her Susan series by interviewing Susan Gillis, Susan Olding and Sioux Browning.

She also exposed the "Confessions of a Sexist Reader," shared how she doesn't teach her daughter how to read and the first and second part of her "Be Full of Others" series.
