Dynamic Earth: Home of the Big Nickel

Dynamic Earth is an interactive science museum located in Greater Sudbury. Based on earth sciences, the museum focuses almost entirely on geology and mining - both of which have dramatically shaped the region's history. Visitors can follow the paths of underground miners, travel in an underground tunnel, and even witness a simulated dynamite blast. The centre is also home to the Big Nickel - a nine metre replica of a 1951 Canadian nickel.
