Join The Brucedale Press on Sunday, August 25 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. for the launch celebration of Stowaway in the White Hurricane by Barbara Aggerholm.

The Paddy Walker House, the oldest building in Kincardine is a fitting venue for a reading that recalls the Great Storm of November 1913 through the eyes of thirteen-year-old Lucy Clark. Light refreshments will be served. The House is at the corner of Harbour Street and Huron Terrace, with entrance off Huron Terrace.

Free municipal parking in the block to the east, or down Harbour Street at the flag pole by the lake. Tween-aged readers especially welcome!

Barbara Aggerholm has drawn on accounts of the historic storm and her own experience as a newspaper reporter to create a tale of high drama and heroism. Stowaway in the White Hurricane (The Brucedale Press) is her second novel for young readers.
